国産精麻（栃木県産の野州麻）使用。

【精麻とは】
おお麻（ヘンプ）の茎の皮から精製された、独特のツヤと強靭さを持つ繊維のこと。魔を除け穢れを祓う「祓い清め」のホーリー・プラントとして、古来から神事には欠かせないものでした。
（穢れを吸い取った精麻を、穢れごと川に流すことから、「水に流す」という言葉が生まれました）

【精麻飾りについて】

精麻は、水でも塩でも祓えない穢れを祓うと言われており、さらに『ふさ』の部分を曳き撫でると良
いと言われております。また曳き撫でる事により、『ふさ』に光沢が増します。
(繊細に出来ておりますので、ふさの結び目部分を持ち上から下へ優しく引き撫でて下さい。精麻は
多少抜けてくる場合がございます。)

精麻から紡ぎ手作りのため、大きさの違いやゆがみがございますが、ご了承ください。

素材の特性上、繊維の毛羽立ちがございます。また、スレや汚れなどで精麻は痩せていきます。

時間の経過と共に、変色や型崩れがおこる場合がございます。

最後の仕上げに形を整えるため、和ろうそくにて優しく火にあてています。
多少の焦げ色、香りが残る事がございます。

水には強いですが濡れると縮んだり、型崩れする可能性があるため、お気をつけください。

『水濡れで型崩れした時の対処法』
引っ張らずにタオルで水分をふき取り、形を整えて風通しの良いところに干してください。

Over time, discoloration and shape loss may occur.

Gently heat it with a Japanese candle to shape it to the final finish.
Some brown color and scent may remain.

It is strong against water, but if it gets wet, it may shrink or lose its shape, so please be careful.

Wipe off the water with a towel without pulling, shape it and dry it in a well-ventilated place.
